We spent five days in this beautifully converted barn in June. The property is outstanding, set next to other barns with a farm nearby. My initial reservation — having to do with places next to working farms being smelly and noisy — were dispelled as soon as we drove up the private road. All we could smell was the fresh air, and the only noise was from birds in the nearby trees. Views across the hills and countryside were wonderful

The property itself is beautifully furnished and appointed. There is a spacious kitchen with every cooking implement you could need. The sitting room has a big television with a good supply of DVDs. Also some nice books. The bedrooms are furnished with large double beds. Bathroom and ensuite also well appointed. The children loved all the local attractions but particular to the site was the abundance of wildlife. We saw hares, deer, badgers and barn and tawny owls. The property is quiet and well maintained. As an experienced self-catering family, we think it is the best in which we have stayed — a fantastic place. Relaxing, beautiful and definitely a place we will be revisiting...if we can get in! -- Andy Fairclough, Bunbury
